Beit Yisrael (Zidichov)—first edition, Lviv (Lemberg) 1834
y the Admor Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Zidichov on chassidut and kabbalah, the first edition, which was printed in Lviv, Stefanski (Chassidut) 86. Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Eichenstein of Zidichov (1763-1831), a descendent of the Tosafot Yom Tov, founded Zidichov chassidut, was known as a kabbalist well-versed in mysticism as well as the revealed Torah. Rabbi Haim of Sanz, the Divrei Haim, said that when people in Galicia say “Rabbi” by itself, they intend the Rabbi of Zidichov. Rabbi Yehezkel of Sinoa said that going up to his grave on the day of his death on 11th of Tammuz was tantamount to the journey to the Rashbi’s grave on Lag B’Omer. Not bound, light moth marks, generally good condition.
