Skull & Crossbones Decanter Jug : Post War Japan
Skull and Crossbones porcelain decanter jug from G Nov. Co. Japan. This is the 1940s/1950s Japan porcelain skull and crossbones porcelain jug decanter with original painted phrase Lay off, this is the old mans private poison on the front. The skull is attached to the cork, and the cork is full (unbroken) and functions (though the decanter is being sold empty!). With a quick cleaning, the piece will look like new, with no damage, no cracks, no chips, and glossy paint remaining. The bottom label indicates G Nov. Co. Japan. The piece is 9 inches tall and 4 inches wide.
