HITLER YOUTH NAZI WAR LIBRARY BOOKS (10)
Ten booklets belonging to the Nazi-era children’s book series 'Kriegsbuecherei der Deutschen Jugend' ('War Library of the German Youth'). They were published at weekly intervals from 1940 through December 1942 and commissioned by Reich Youth Leader Baldur von Schirach for the Hitler Youth. Their purpose was to inspire the youth to join the military. Every book in this set follows an actual event from World War II and has a brightly illustrated cover glorifying the German military cause. The lot includes booklets number 23, 26, 36, 42, 48, 50, 59, 72, 74, 77. They all focus on the war at sea. Covers show some wear, otherwise very good.
