GONE WITH THE WIND - BUTTERFLY MCQUEEN
(1911 - 1995) American actress. Originally a dancer, McQueen first appeared as a slave named Prissy in the 1939 movie 'Gone with the Wind'. She was unable to attend the movie's premiere because it was held at a whites-only theater. Clipped signature from a check, matted with a b/w photograph of McQueen in character. 11x 14 inches overall.
