ALLACH BDM GIRL NO. 64
Rare SS- Allach political figure, the white porcelain BDM (Bund Deutscher Madel - League of German Girls) was manufactured at the Allach Porcelain Factory and designed by Richard Foerster in 1937. White glazed porcelain, 10.5 inches tall, marked on the underside of the base 'R Forster', in the octagon 'SS Allach' and underneath with the model number '64'. The right hand is missing a small digit of the index finger, see the close-up image. Besides this small fault, this rare Allach piece is in very good condition. Allach porcelain 'Porzellan Manufaktur Allach' was produced in Germany between 1935 and 1945. After its first year of operation, the enterprise was run by the SS with forced labor provided by the Dachau concentration camp under the leadership of Heinrich Himmler.
