Oscar De Mejo (Italian, American, 1911-1992) lithograph on paper depicting Oath and holding hand on the Bible scene. Signed in pencil by the artist, lower right. Numbered 124 of 200, lower left. Oscar de Mejo’s artworks are a mixture of the naive and the sophisticated whimsical depictions of American life with irrational and incongruous details that fill his works prod both the conscious and unconscious mind.
