Vintage VA Quilt - Bow Ties 1940s
Vintage quilt, circa 1940s but finished c1970s in Bow Tie Pattern, measures 71 inches by 75 inches. 156 Bow Tie blocks 5 inches by 5 inches, set straight, 12 by 13, with a pieced half square triangle border. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. The backing is a white cotton blend, with a thin polyester batting, back brought to front to finish the edge. In good condition, I noticed one small seam by the edge that needs to be resewn, and some fading in the reds and a brown fabric. Believed to have been from the Shenandoah Valley, VA region. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate. I will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Depending on how many lots I can pack, it may cost an additional $5-$10.
