A CARVED PERSIAN QALAMDAN PEN BOX 19TH C.
Fine Persian Qajar period carved wood Qalamdan pen box. A multi-figured composition presumably depicting the ruler and his retinue is artfully carved on the lid. The sides are decorated with floral designs, figures, and Arabic lettering.
Dimensions : L: 8 3/4 in., (22 cm.)
Condition : Good overall with a small chip on the bottom of the case
