This vintage Gilbert and Sullivan theater costume comes from the estate of an actor who participated in many productions for over 30 years with a well known and award winning NYC Theater Company. This printed velvet coat features purple velvet wings on the shoulders and an attached doublet of gold lame with purple, green, and gold paisley motifs. There is gold trim on the sleeves, and edging the coat opening. Two closure at the back of the neck. Measurements are as follows: 19 inch neck, 34 inches long from the back of the top of the collar to the bottom edge, 17 inches across the shoulders, and 26 inch long sleeve. Comes with a 92 inch long purple and gold rope belt that is detached. In good condition, some stitches coming undone and needs to be professionally cleaned.
