Border Protection Forces Officer Cap 1952 Rare
Polish garrison cap, an officer of the Border Protection Forces (WOP). Round, used in the years 1952 - 1961. Cardboard canopy, lacquered black. White metal visor fitting, without markings. Buttons fastening the lining with eagles. Green border. A metal star on the rim - a mark of the rank of the second lieutenant. There is a steel eagle on the cap. Leather sweatband with signs of use, but no damage. At the bottom there is a size marking - 5, and the date of production smeared with ink. Very rare cap in very good condition.
