Diary of the Warsaw Insurgent 1944
A diary of a Polish soldier, participant in the uprising against Germany in Warsaw in 1944. The diary is written in the form of loose notes on the margin of the book "About gunshot wounds and their first dressing (1912). The author of the notes is an unknown soldier. He writes his observations on a regular basis, for example:" no bandages, Janka buried, the last bullets, what next? " or "Mągołow attack - 9 killed, 11 in captivity", "Edek was wounded, but he brought ammunition ...", "Krysia is killed, she is lying on the street for the second day, we go for her at night ..." my father died in Wola, mom is dead, I was left alone. The records show that the insurgent took part in the fighting in the Warsaw district of Wola, then in the Old Town and Solec. He mentions the passage through the sewers: "gloomy in the sewers. 3 hours I was walking up from Okrag Street to Krakowsie Street. Low passages and stench. A very rare original document. This item will be shipped from our Europe office.
