WWII GERMAN ANTI SEMITIC POSTER BY ALFRED VOGEL
German Holocaust period Anti-Semitic Propagandistic original poster, Jews Inundate Germany - Germans Emigrate, 1938. One of a series of more than 70 Anti-Semitic and racist teaching posters used in German grade schools beginning in 1937. Illustrated by Eberhard Brauchle. Prepared by Alfred Vogel (a school headmaster and Nazi Party member), who argued that traditional texts and statistics should be supplemented by forceful graphic images, using the latest techniques in illustration and color printing. This map shows shabby Jews streaming into the country (on red arrows) from multiple directions as well-dressed German farmers and professionals flee.
