first edition of the novellae and responsa by the gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger, one of the greatest rabbinic leaders ever to have arisen among the Jewish people. He illuminated their eyes with Torah in his tremendous genius, to the point that the title "HaGaon" was added to his name. Together with this, he was famed for his extreme, almost unparalleled humility.
