***Auction Highlight*** 1902-o NEAR TOP POP! Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms67 By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE ENTIRE AUCTION - Up for Auction is a 1902-o Morgan Dollar Near TOP POP, a Half point from the finest known. Only in the highest reaches of the grading scale does the 1902-O become scarce. An indifferent strike and numerous bagmarks limit the grade of most Mint State examples, as it does with other so-called Creole dollars from the New Orleans Mint. This splendid, high-end Superb Gem is an exception. Light golden toning blankets the otherwise lustrous & frosted surfaces. The strike weakens only slightly over Liberty's ear, and bagmarks are limited to a few tiny nicks at the top of Liberty's cap and the field beyond. The focal fields are smooth and free of any distractions whatsoever, as is Liberty's smooth cheek. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation
