WWII 81st Infantry 6th Army Major Khaki Uniform Named
Original WWII US Army Khaki uniform jacket and trousers from Major (later Lt. Colonel) Howard S. White of Texas. He was a Field Artillery and later Coast Artillery Officer that entered the Army in 1928, and became a Major in January 1944 serving with the 81st Infantry Wildcat Division and the Sixth Army earning an Army Commendation Medal and Navy Unit Commendation Medal. Both the pants and jacket are a size 41S and the same material. The pants have H.S. White handwritten in them and the last four digits of his Army Serial number. Inside a jacket pocket is a printout of some service info from an Army register.
