35 postcards with photographs and illustrations of the key figures in the Dreyfus affair that came out during the affair. Various printers and places, late 19th and early 20th century/ Newspapers from the Dreyfus affair.
In the collection, postcards accompany the affair from beginning to end, partly on behalf of Dreyfus' supporters and partly on behalf of his opponents. Among others, there are several real photo postcards from the honor ceremony held for Dreyfus after his promotion in the courtyard of the Ecole Militaire, as well as postcards with illustrations and cartoons by Alfred Dreyfus, Emil Zola, Ferdinand Esterhazy, Georges Picquart, Laburi, Clemenso, Postcard from the 'Documents from the Dreyfus Trial', Dreyfus on Demon Island, and more.
