Amand Durand, etching, after Rembrandt
Amand Durand (1831-1905) Hand pulled etching from the original copper plates by Durand after Rembrandt's "Samuel Menasseh Ben Israel." Durand became a master engraver early in his career, he became dedicated to recreating 16th century master engravings. Dimensions 6.5" X 5" image, 15" X 11.5" sheet, 30.5" x 26.5." Signed and dated in the plate. COA detailing the etching and Durand accompany the piece.
