Sefer Amudei Golah - SeMak, Krakow 1596.

Sefer Amudei Golah - Sefer Mitzvos Katan, was written by R. Yitzchak of Corbiel, one of the 13th century Tosafists. The work's official title is Amudei Golah, and is written in the form of a poem. It is divided into 7 "pillars", each corresponding the seven days of the week. In his introduction he asks of "every man to read one pillar each day". It includes Halacha along with Aggadic and Mussar sources.

Like all editions, the rulings of R. Yosef Karo — Shulchan Aruch are cited on each page. However in this edition - unlike previous ones - it also includes those annotations of the Remah in places where he argues with the Shulchan Aruch.

In overall very good condition. Title page restored at lower left corner, not affecting text. Trimmed margins, affecting final line of text on pp. 29. Lacking 2 leaves of indices; final rare leaf present, lacking in some copies.

An important ownership inscription — “Meir MaHaram b. Gedaliah Marana from the family of MaHaram MiRutenburg” seen on title page. Further research should be conducted.
