Sefer Iggeres Ba’alei Chaim was written by R. Klonymus b. Klonymus and was first printed in Mantua in 1517. A highly popular and important ethical work, based off parables and fables in the form of various creatures and animals. As stated in the introduction, it was first written in Arabic and subsequently translated into Hebrew. Due to its popularity throughout the ages, this work has been republished dozens of times.
