A RUSSIAN GOUACHE PAINTING BY BORIS KUSTODIEV
Boris Mikhailovich Kustodiev (Russian, Soviet, 1878-1927) gouache painting on paper, Winter Queen. Signed with initials lower right. Framed. The gilded plate showing the engraving with the artist's name, lower to the center of the frame. Kustodiev, a portrait and theater artist, decorator, captured the scenes of Russian everyday life and holidays on his bright and cheerful canvases.
