RUSSIAN PAINTING MAQUETTE FOR POSTER BY MALOLETKOV
Evgeny Stepanovich Maloletkov (Russian, Soviet, 1915-1961) pencil painting on paper, the original unique illustration, maquette for a poster, Under Socialism, Labor, not Wealth or Origin, Determines the Position of a Person in Society. Titled lower to the center. The original pencil sketch depicting a woman and a cow, on verso. Signed and dated 1962. Maloletkov, a graphic artist worked for Voyenizdat for many years (1936–1953), with an interruption due to his service in the Army during the war.
