Letter from Rebbe Rayatz, with the Handwriting and Signature of His Daughter Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneersohn (Wife of the Lubavitcher Rebbe) – Perchtoldsdorf, 1937

Letter from Rebbe Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn – Rebbe Rayatz of Lubavitch. Perchtoldsdorf (Austria), 6th Av 1937.
Typewritten on a postcard, and sent to a Chabad Chassid residing in Tel Aviv. The Rayatz blesses him that G-d come to his assistance both in material and spiritual matters.
The letter is signed "in the name of the rebbe", presumably by his daughter Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneersohn, wife of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. The address is inscribed in Latin characters (nine words) on the back of the postcard, presumably also by Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka.

In the 1930s, the health of the Rayatz deteriorated and he would travel often to various sanatoriums throughout Europe, one of them being the Perchtoldsdorf sanatorium, close to Vienna. He was occasionally accompanied by his son-in-law R. Menachem Mendel and daughter Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, who assisted him in his work.
