BLACK WOUND BADGE AWARD FOR SS-SCHUTZE
Award certificate for the black wound badge issued to SS-Schutze Richard Kroth, a member of the 3./SS-Pz.Gren. Pol. Rgt.7, for a one-time injury on 17.1.45. Issued at Vienna 19.2.1945 and signed by the chief physician of the SS-Lazarett Vienna. On the reverse is a pencil notation '17.I.45 - 20.III.45 Treutschein, Baden.' Trentschin is a city in western Slovakia. Multiple folds, approx. 5.5 x 8 inches.
