Mule and Clown Cap Gun
Made by the Ives, Blakeslee Company of Connecticut - 1882 - 5 1/4" Long. Gertrude Hegarty Collection. The clown has a cap in the seat of his pants. When the gun is activated, the donkey kicks upwards, exploding the cap. Another faultless example from the world renowned Hegarty Collection.
