A WWI German Imperial Prussian Baden Firemans original brass front helmet plate in the form of a winged griffin wearing a Kings crown holding a sword in one hand and a shield in the other hand. Engraved with Firemans motto, Gott Zehr, Dem Nachsten Z. Wehr (God to honor, neighbor to defend), on the ribbon below.
