Stunning mint German Passport " Deutsches Reichsbund furLeibesubungen "German Reich Association for Physical Exercise"The Membership card No 162287 / VIII is for Dr Hans Frank Berlin W9Leipziger Platz 15 dated 30 January 1935.The inside front page features a great passport photo of Dr. Hans Frank anda clear and bold Frank signature , it is from the SS Hospital Hohenlychendated 30.1.35 , Sports comradeship Hohenlychen and is also signed by ProfDr. Karl Gebhardt , this was a very personal document of Dr. Hans Frank.The passport shows all the physical exercises were carried out completelyfor 1935 , 1936 and 1937.Prof Dr. Karl Gebhardt was one of the leading physicians within the SS andwas also the personal physician of Heinrich Himmler.Gebhardt conducted medical experiments on concentration camp prisoners inhis own clinic at Hohenlychen and at Ravensbruck and Auschwitz concentrationcamps. He was sentenced to death in the Nuremberg medical trial and wasexecuted.Hans Michael Frank (23 May 1900 – 16 October 1946) was a German politicianand lawyer who served as head of the General Government in Poland during theSecond World War.Frank was an early member of the German Workers' Party, the precursor of theNazi Party (NSDAP). He took part in the failed Beer Hall Putsch, and laterbecame Adolf Hitler's personal legal adviser as well as the lawyer of theNSDAP. In June 1933 he was named as a Reichsleiter (national leader, Reichleader) of the party. In December 1934, Frank joined the Hitler Cabinet as aReichsminister, Minister without Portfolio.After the German invasion of Poland in 1939, Frank was appointedGovernor-General of the occupied Polish territories. During his tenure, heinstituted a reign of terror against the civilian population and becamedirectly involved in the mass murder of Jews. He engaged in the use offorced labour and oversaw four of the extermination camps. The policies ofenslavement and extermination were later used extensively in the conqueredterritories of the Soviet Union. By 1942 Frank had lost Hitler's favour, butremained head of the General Government until its collapse in early 1945.After the war, Frank was found guilty of war crimes and crimes againsthumanity at the Nuremberg trials. He was sentenced to death and executed byhanging in October 1946.The passport measures 90mm x 130mm unopened and 180mm x 260mm when opened itis in excellent condition , it is extremely rare and hard to find a passportof a very Senior Nazi and Governor-General of the General Government ofOccupied Poland
