Willow Auction House is excited to present our first finely Curated auction of 2021.

Among the items up for sale, a large selection of artwork including paintings by Kurt Trampedach, Vincent Stiepevich, Julio Romero de Torres and Emile Claus; multiples including lithographs by Larry Rivers, Will Barnet and Salvador Dali, as well as screenprints by Alex Katz and Robert Rauschenberg.

The June Curated Auction also features furniture including ornately carved pieces in the style of RJ Horner, as well as a selection of mid-century and Danish modern items; glass including Lalique and Saint Louis crystal, Galle, Tiffany Favrile, and Steuben Aurene; a selection of jewelry, silver, vintage toys and trains, and a grandmother clock by Elmer Stennes.

Rounding out the sale, a collection of folk art circus items, including a Schoenhut Humpty Dumpty set and several hand made wagons, among them a complete hand painted sideshow wagon train.

This Salmagundi Oil on Canvas titled, "Captain Cook: Australia Bound" (Salmagundi Club Collection), signed Kipp Soldewedel - 1978 Kipp Soldwedel (1913 - 1999) was an internationally known American artist and a Salmagundi member in 1963. He was known for his beautiful depictions of maritime scenes and featured in various prestigious magazines such as National Geographic and Life among others. Today, Soldwedel's work can be seen in the rotunda of the Statue of Liberty and at the American National Art Museum of Sport.
