Gold Handle Presentation Cane
Solid Gold sheet over brass handle cane/walking stick 1850-1910.
These solid sheet of Gold handles were done in repousse work and cased over a brass metal knob or handle for heavier weight. These gold sheet handles were only made in The USA. The ebonized hardwood shaft is 34.5"L. Marked " JD Madge from PYC-C Chilliiothr.O. No.148". The Nickle/steel Ferrule is 1.5". Excellent condition with age related wear.
