W.P. Van Ed Signed Original Oil Painting Notre-Dame
Impressionist painting of a view of the Notre-Dame Cathedral from the banks of La Seine.
Walter Prescher Van Ed studied at the Art Academy in Dresden, where he was a student of K. Enderlein and P. Rossler. In 1948 he received the title of professor from the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin, and was then Associate Professor at the Dresden Art Academy. In 1961 he was a visiting professor at the College of Fine Arts in Nancy. Ed van Prescher was an honorary citizen of Montmartre. In Prague, he attended the master class of Oskar Kokoschka.
