Rare notebook containing Torah novellae handwritten by the leading rosh yeshivah of the previous generation, the renowned gaon Rabbi Shmuel Rozovsky, rosh yeshivah of Ponovezh. The novellae are in autograph script (including erasures, corrections and marginal supplements) about topics in Tractates Zevachim and Kiddushin.
As is known, the gaon Rabbi Shmuel Rozovsky wrote very little and most of his Torah was transmitted for generations through his disciples' writings [refer to his son's foreword to Shiurei Rabbi Shmuel al Masachet Makkot]. Hence the extreme rarity of this manuscript, in which his famous golden golden tongue can be viewed, as well as his rare explanations, unparalleled in his generation or even previous generations.

Legend has it that the few novellae that Rabbi Rozovsky actually committed to writing came to him while he was asleep, and as soon as he woke up (sometimes in the middle of the night) he would write them down so that he would remember them ...
