Brit Menuchah. Amsterdam, 1648. Source for the Segulah of the 9th Hour of the 9th Day of the 9th Month

Brit Menuchah - early work - guide to practical Kabbalah! Wisdom, love, understanding, etc., by Rabbi Avraham MiRimon HaSepharadi. First edition. Amsterdam, 1648. Kabbalistic diagrams.

"With respect to the true Kabbalistic works, my teacher the Ar"i z"l said to us that the book Brit Menuchah is true, and it was authored by a great sage, done per the soul of an early tzaddik to whom Eliyahu HaNavi appeared and taught." (From Rabbi Chaim Vital's preface to Etz Chaim.)

This is the first edition of the lofty Kabbalistic work Brit Menuchah, attributed to one of the Rishonim who was a disciple of the Ramba"n. (The Chid"a writes that there are those who attribute it to Rabbi Chamai Gaon.) The title page of the book states that the Ar"i praised the author very much, as well as indicating the book's attribution to its author. It is known that this book is important to Chassidic leaders, and it is even related that the Ba'al Shem Tov cited this work. The Rama"k, in his book Pardes Rimonim, quotes this work several times and notes its importance. In Sha'ar 20, Sha'ar HaShemot,  Chapter 1: "Certainly everything in this book is divinely inspired, or transmitted by great people." Likewise in Chapter 28, Sha'ar HaNekudat, Chapter 1: "His words indicate that this is Kabbalistic tradition, transmitted orally or by an angel, unattainable by in-depth or detailed study, it is entirely a wonderful accomplishment, approaching Divine inspiration."
