Letter Signed by the Rebbe, Harav Chaim of Kossov Hy”d, 1934.
Letter regarding Kollel Kossov in Tzfas and a blessing for New Year.
Harav Chaim Hager of Kossov Hy”d (-1943) was the last scion of the Kossover dynasty. Like his father, Harav Moshe of Kossov — author of Leket Ani, he headed Kollel Kossov in Tzfas and sent large sums of money to support the poor of Eretz Yisrael. He received semichah from his grandfather, the author of Machazeh Avraham, and in 1925, succeeded his father as Rav and Rebbe of Kossov where he was unanimously accepted by all his father’s chassidim. He was deported from Kolomyia in 1943 and perished in the cattle cars.
