Sefer Birkas Moshe - R. Moshe Nachum Yerushalimsky, Lemberg 1886.
Sefer Birkas Moshe, responsa of R. Moshe Nachum Yerushalimski, printed at Lemberg in 1886. First Edition. 3 parts in 1.
R. Moshe Nachum Yerushalimsky (1855-1916), a dynamic Torah leader in the late 19th century. In his early years he forged a relationship with R. Chaim Halberstam of Sanz, known as the Divrei Chaim, and later became a staunch follower of R. David Twerski of Tolna, the first Tolner Rebbe. His Chassidic background notwithstanding, he was well respected by Torah leaders of Lithuanian Jewry and maintained a close relationship with them.
In overall very good condition, light staining seen on title page. Open tear to pp. 4, not affecting text. Small worm holes seen on some page corners, not affecting text. Open tears to final leaf, affecting text and resulting in some loss.
