J. & E. Stevens Company Cromwell, Ct. - Late 1870's Excellent Condition The Cupola Bank is arguably the prettiest building bank every created. The flared foundation with its steep staircase, is a great visual anchor for its cylindrical structure. Ultimately, your eyes drift upwards where you discover two scalloped rooflines, a most pleasing aesthetic outcome. Pressing the door knob causes the cupola to rise on three poles, revealing the bank manager in his office beneath the dome.
