Soldier with Spiked Helmet

Stevens Company Cromwell, Ct. - Circa Mid 1880's Provenance: Mosler Collection Very Good Plus Condition For years, collectors have wrongly believed that this bank was made in Germany simply because it portrays a Prussian marksman wearing a spiked helmet. In reality, it was produced by the Stevens Company and marketed to foreign distributers. Very very few authentic examples of this bank exist. It's a genuine museum quality acquisition.
