Dear Friends,

Join me for Russian Fine Art Charity Auction!

Proceeds from the auction will go towards supporting Anonymous Child Charity and their educational programs.

Russian Artists, Paintings, graphics, posters, art objects.

All paintings and posters listed in the auction were collected by me through the years. These are very special, collectable pieces and I was very happy living around them for many years. I am excited that these wonderful works will find new homes and owners as well as serve a GREAT cause.

The auction will take place on WEDNESDAY, May 5th, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Bidspirit.com

Anonymous Child Charity (www.anonymous-child.org), is a small, independent international organisation which is helping disadvantaged children and youth to raise from poverty and break the cycle of inequality by providing high-impact local projects such as after-school educational programs or scholarship programs to obtain higher education. Being involved with the charity, I've seen the extraordinary work they do in challenging circumstances of the developing countries to help many children to gain an access to high-quality education and set them on the path towards a brighter future.

I hope you'll consider buying in this auction -- you will become not only an owner of a great and, in some cases, rare artifact but also will make a direct impact on children in need.

With that said, I'll leave here one of my favourite quotes from Dr. Seuss:

"Unless someone like you care a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not"

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Enjoy bidding! Please reach out if you have any specific questions about any item listed.

Sincerely Yours,

Katya Nadirova

Lev Korchemkin (1912–2001)

Soviet graphic artist, illustrator, painter, poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1948.

In 1948 he graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I.Surikov. Since 1964 he took an active part in the activities of the studio "New Reality", under the leadership of E. Belyutin. During the war years he worked as a decorator, after the war he performed propaganda and film posters. The artist possessed an undeniable gift to convey not only the mood, but also to find a surprisingly correct tonality, which perfectly allows the viewer to penetrate the essence of the work. It is not surprising that Lev Korchemkin successfully worked as a book illustrator - he illustrated the books “A Thousand and One Nights”, fairy tales of the peoples of the USSR, Perrot's fairy tales, works by G. Mann, D. Diderot, Voltaire and others. But he managed to achieve the most significant success in film posters.

L. N. Korchemkin's works are in the Volgograd, Tula, Yaroslavl museums, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
