The auction will take place on Saturday, April 24th, 2021 starting at 1:30 pm EST. We will be presenting the auction with limited in-gallery attendees as well as live online.
Previews will be held by appointment only which can be arranged by calling (845)372-4787 during normal business hours.

The Rise of the Dutch Republic- Complete in one volume: Motley, John Lothrop: Publisher: Bickers & Son, London: Publication Date: 1878 :Binding: Full-Leather Green: Blindstamped green leather cover with gilt decoration. Cover edges are rubbed. Page edges and endpapers are marbled. Raised bands on the spine. Book Condition: Good to Very Good, some corner rubs, shelf wear, binding solid, pages well preserved for 140+-year-old paper. The previous owner's name is written in pen and inscription -Prize for order and punctuality, St. Aubyns House 1883 - on the second free endpaper.
