About The Artist:
John Byle, Painter. b. 1928, Detroit, U.S.A. Immigrated 1951. Was member of Kibbutz Urim until 1955. 1965-67 Spent time in U.S.A. Studies: 1946-51 Art Institute, Chicago. Teaching: From 1962 head of art department, Bezalel, Jerusalem. Worked on projects combining art and architecture.
