In January1945 the evacuation of the camp began. Approximately 200 prisoners weremurdered immediately, thereafter about 4.000 prisoners were sent on a deathmarch.This document bears the signature of SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer Otto Brossmann.After using the SS-Infantry Regiment 14 , he was transferred in December1942 to Auschwitz concentration camp. He was commander of various guardunits before he became Lagerfuhrer in Blechhammer in may 1944.
