Rabbi Aharon Moshe MiGeza Zvi (1775-1845) was a student of the Chozeh of Lublin and HaSaraf, Rabbi Uri of Srelisk. Rabbi Aharon was a renowned Kabbalist in Brod from 1826 and in 1839 settled in Jerusalem and was considered the founder of the Chassidic community there.
Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Manson (d. 1914) was the son of Rabbi Yosef Manson and Gittel, the daughter of Rabbi Israel of Ruzhin. Rabbi Levi Yitzchak grew up and was educated in the court of his grandfather and later studied with his successor, Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura, who was Rabbi Levi Yitzchak’s uncle.
Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Manson was the only one of the Ruzhin Admorin to have his sermons and teachings published during his lifetime. He was renowned for his kindness to others and as one of the biggest philanthropists in Galicia. He suffered many misfortunes, including the loss of his nine children, during his lifetime.
