A FRANZ I COURT SWORD WITH GILT BLADE CIRCA 1804
The hilt is bronze-cast featuring the Austrian Imperial eagle and F.I on the clam guard. The original gilding is almost entirely present. The blade is a stiletto type decorated with gilding and bluing. The scabbard is made of dark-brown leather with gilt brass mounts.
Dimensions: L: 36 1/2 in., (93 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with the bottom part of the scabbard missing
