A RUSSIAN PRESENTATION SWORD RUSSO-TURKISH WAR
A Russian presentation shashka sword with gild blade featuring the following inscription in Russian "For the conquest of Kars, 4 - 5 November 1877" on one side and "To Kotlovskiy N. S. from the service mates M. V. and F. R." Blade was made by Zlatoust Factory in 1870 and stamped "ZLATOUST 1870" and inspection/arsenal marks (in Cyrillic). Brass hilt, crossguard is stamped "206"
Dimensions: L: 34 7/8 in., (89 cm.)
Condition: Scabbard is missing, damaged grip, blade is in good shape
