Yesod Yitzchak, Part I - Kabbalistic and Chassidic teachings on Brit Milah; Part II - Halichot Olam, practices and segulot, by R. Yitzchak Eizik HaLevi of Zuravitz (Żurawica; author of Raza Meheimna and Otiot D'Rabbi Yitzchak). Zhovkva, [1810]. First edition.
Order of study for the night preceding a Brit Milah (Vach Nacht) on leaves 41-47 (compiled from the Zohar).
The author, R. Yitzchak Eizik HaLevi (1735-1783), was a shochet and holy kabbalist. In the approbations, he is described as a hidden Tzaddik. The Yismach Moshe personally oversaw the publication of his book Raza Meheimna.
[4], 5-69 leaves. Lacking one of first leaves with publisher's foreword. 22 cm. Good condition. Stains, including dampstains. Small marginal open tears to several leaves. Handwritten inscriptions. New leather binding.
