Babylonian Talmud, (incomplete) set of nineteen volumes, with Piskei Tosafot, Rosh, commentary on Mishnayot by the Rambam, Maharsha, Maharam Schiff, Meir Nativ. Zhitomir, grandsons of the rabbi of Slavita, 1858-1864. Lacking Tractates Rosh Hashanah, Yoma and Sukkah.
Including Meir Nativ by R. Shabtai HaKohen, which was omitted from later Vilna, Warsaw and Lviv editions.
Ownership inscriptions, signatures and stamps in some volumes.
19 volumes. Lacking Tractates Rosh Hashanah, Yoma and Sukkah. Two title pages for each volume, printed in red and black (tractates appearing in middle of volumes mostly feature only one black title page). Approx. 38 cm. Overall good-fair condition. Several volumes with some leaves in fair condition. Stains, including dampstains. Traces of past dampness with significant mold stains to several volumes. Large open tears to some title pages and other leaves, affecting text, repaired in part with paper. Worming in several places. Old leather bindings, worn and damaged. Some spines repaired with paper.
