This volume comprises the Torah, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, Samuel, the two Books of Chronicles, Ezra, Nechemya, Ester, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Songs. Frontispiece engraving depicting biblical figures; historiated initials and additional ornaments on some leaves.
64, [2] pp. (including the engraving), [667] leaves (intermittent pagination), approx. 24.5 cm. Stains, including dampstains. Minor creases and some small tears. Ink notations (early) on some leaves. Inked stamp on verso of the engraved plate. Leather-covered card binding, stained and blemished, slightly loose. New spine, slightly blemished.
