Four albums of pressed flowers, produced by the Boulos Meo carpet, souvenir and antique shop in the Old City of Jerusalem. Bound in olivewood bindings. With captions in English and French. Jerusalem, [ca. late 19th century or early 20th century].
1. Album a Fleurs de la Terre Sainte, a rare copy of the folio edition, with 24 arrangements of pressed flowers. Olivewood binding with a carved frame and color marquetry borders, the Jerusalem cross on front and the inscription "Jerusalem" (in Hebrew and in Latin characters) printed on the back.
[1] title page, [24] f., approx. 32X24 cm. Good condition. Minor blemishes to flower arrangements. Stains and blemishes to leaves and tissue guards. Front board cracked across.
2. Fleurs de Terre-Sainte, 24 flower arrangements. Olivewood binding with a carved Jerusalem cross on front and the inscription "Jerusalem" (Hebrew) printed on the back.
