An elegant book, printed on thick quality paper, about the artistic activity of the dancer, painter and film maker Baruch Agadati. The book contains thirty-two reproductions ("The Cliches of the Photographs by A. Suskin"), most of them featuring photographs and pictures of Agadati in his performances (the artists include Reuven Rubin, Pinchas Litvinovsky, Boris Aaronsohn and others). The reproductions are accompanied by three essays: "The Dance and the Dancer (On the Artistic Face of B. Agadati)" by Asher Barash; "The Art of Baruch Agadati" by Yitzchak Katz; "The Dances of Baruch Agadati" by Menashe Rabinovitz (Rabina);
Copy no. 26 of a limited edition of 100 copies. Artistic binding created in the studio of Elhanan Hefetz, with a gilt impression ("HaRikud HaIvri , Baruch Agadati") and a plate with a print by Pinchas Litvinovsky.
[3], 23, [1] pp. + 32 reproductions (mounted on blank pages), 33 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains and creases (most of them minor). Blemishes and wear to binding. Abrasions to the printed plate and gilt on the binding.
Enclosed is the original advertising booklet of the publishing house, printed on orange paper, with a leaf from Barash's essay, illustration of the cover and three illustrations of dance performances (two of them do not appear in the book). On the last page - a form for ordering a copy of the book (rare, not in NLI).
