AN ANTIQUE RUSSIAN LOCKET NECKLACE 56 GOLD & DIAMAOND
Early 20th-century rectangular gold medallion. Consists of two halves, inside are oval recesses for storing commemorative images. The outside is adorned with embossed undulating stripes, the lid is also adorned with a diagonal band and inlaid with diamonds. On the clasp, there is a stamp with 56 gold fineness for 14K gold and a woman's head in a kokoshnik.
Dimensions: Weight: 7.8 dwt. L: 1 1/4 X 3/4 in., 3 X 2 cm.
Condition: Very good with light scratches
