This clown outfitbelonged Daniel Belk Kerr (Dan Pappy Kerr) who lived Asheville, N.C. after retiring as a circus Clown in the late 40s early 50s. Dan billed himself as the best dressed clown in the world. This outfit was purchased for 300 dollars in the 1940s. Dan Traveled the country as a clown for many curcuses. He Died in 1984.
