19TH C. KPM HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN PLAQUE SIGNED
A very fine and large nineteenth century KPM plaque with hand painted scene, signed H. Meisel and impressed KPM with sceptre on back. Hand painted scene of "Loves Awakening", after the original painting by George Percy Jacomb-Hood. Housed in gilt wood and gesso frame.

Provenance: This plaque was purchased by the consignor on September 26, 2005 at Freeman's for $38,000, Lot 1030.
